Project Structural Engineer (Buildings)

Location: Rochester, New York, United States; full-time onsite

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 annually

What you will do

• Perform structural design and analysis for residential, commercial, institutional, and other building projects.
• Work with steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems.
• Assist with preparing drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site investigations and document existing conditions.
• Coordinate with project staff and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience executing residential, commercial, or institutional building projects as a Structural Engineer.
• Proficiency with computer analysis software such as RISA, SAP, or RAM.
• Working knowledge of REVIT.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• P.E. license; S.E. license is an additional asset.
• Experience preserving historic buildings.
