Senior Structural Engineer, Buildings

Location: Hybrid role based in Rochester, New York

Base compensation: $95,000–$120,000 annually.

What you will do

• Design and analyze structures for residential, commercial, institutional, and other building projects.
• Work with steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems.
• Assist with preparing drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site investigations and document existing conditions.
• Coordinate with project staff and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• 5–12 years of experience executing residential, commercial, or institutional building projects as a Structural Engineer.
• Proficiency with computer analysis software such as RISA, SAP, or RAM.
• Working knowledge of REVIT.
• Client-focused approach and commitment to providing effective solutions.
• Commitment to innovation, ethical conduct, sustainability, and technical excellence.
• Demonstrated collaboration experience in a diverse and inclusive team.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree.
• P.E. license; S.E. license is an additional asset.
• Experience in historic building preservation.
