Structural Project Engineer (PE)

Location: Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, US; home office required within the designated Northeast/Midwest US region.

Salary: $99,800 annually.

What you will do

• Perform conventional structural engineering design, structural analysis, and lateral load analysis for industrial and high-tech manufacturing facilities.
• Develop structural requirements and technical calculations using steel, concrete, and advanced engineering analysis tools.
• Conduct self-checks and peer reviews of structural calculations, design documents, and BIM models.
• Coordinate structural requirements with Structural Leads, Designers, and other engineering disciplines in Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Manage assigned workload against budget, schedule, and quality milestones; identify scope changes and communicate risks.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers and provide field engineering support through site walks and physical observations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering, or a BS in Structural Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• At least 4 years of dedicated structural engineering experience in steel and concrete design.
• Hands-on experience with structural analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
• Strong working knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC provisions.
• Home office setup within the designated Northeast/Midwest US region.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Experience designing semiconductor, advanced technology, or heavy industrial facilities.
• Experience leading small engineering task groups or project sub-teams.
