Commercial Construction Project Manager (Advanced Manufacturing)

Base salary: $107,200–$145,200 per year. Compensation may vary in other cities and states.

What you will do

• Lead commercial construction projects from planning through closeout, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules, milestones, logistics, quality control, and monthly owner reports.
• Develop pre-construction RFP packages and establish processes for RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and subcontract change orders.
• Conduct project meetings, negotiate subcontractor changes, and manage project documentation and closeout.
• Serve as the primary project leader and liaison among clients, project team members, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Supervise, coach, and train assistant project management, administrative, MEP, safety, and other operations support staff while collaborating with the superintendent and site operations team.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree from an accredited university in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred. Additional work experience may substitute for a degree.
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Previous project management experience with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to learn and use project-specific software, including Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, Bluebeam, and JD Edwards.
• Mastery of reading, interpreting, and updating construction project drawings.
• Ability to organize people, tools, and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve required results.
• Knowledge of current market conditions, pricing conventions, and trends.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, decision-making, multitasking, initiative, integrity, adaptability, collaboration, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to recognize and implement contractual and HITT quality standards and coach, train, and educate assistant-level operations team members.
