Home Loan Officer

Location: Spokane Valley, Washington, United States; frequent travel to worksites and branches across Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho, with significant time spent in the field.

Salary: $17.31 per hour plus commission and incentives.

What you will do

• Originate and close conventional, government, construction, and other residential mortgage loans.
• Perform high-volume lending functions accurately, on time, and according to hirify.global standards.
• Guide qualified borrowers through timelines, loan conditions, and closing dates.
• Evaluate applications, credit reports, title reports, appraisals, inspections, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with other departments, advocate for members, and identify process improvements.
• Travel frequently to branches, worksites, and member meetings across Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• At least three years of lending experience in a financial services environment.
• Knowledge of mortgage terms, title insurance, and mortgage processing procedures.
• NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 must be completed upon hire.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Ability to regularly talk, hear, and operate a computer, keyboard, and mouse; occasional lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying of up to 10 pounds is required, with accommodations.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel short and long distances are required.
• Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented office and field environment.

Nice to have

• Fluent Spanish reading, writing, and speaking abilities may be required depending on the specific role.
