What you will do

• Communicate with delinquent consumer, mortgage, and commercial loan borrowers through inbound and outbound calls.
• Assess repayment options and arrange repayment plans or loss mitigation solutions in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Perform skip tracing, analyze financial information, review collateral value, and escalate cases based on risk triggers.
• Collaborate with internal partners, vendors, and management to determine account strategies and meet service level agreements.
• Document account activity and recommendations accurately, handle products covered through cross-training, and monitor business and market trends.
• Provide on-the-job training and guide coworkers on complex research issues.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of combined higher education and/or work experience, including 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented approach, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow company and regulatory compliance and operational risk controls.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3 years of banking experience.
• Knowledge of M&T systems.
