What you will do

• Research and prototype practical AI use cases for productivity, reporting, knowledge discovery, and decision-making.
• Explore Microsoft Copilot, GPT-based tools, AI agents, workflow orchestration, and related technologies.
• Design and test prompts, instructions, workflows, dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks.
• Partner with leaders and stakeholders to define business questions, metrics, rules, and data requirements.
• Validate automated and AI-generated outputs against source data for accuracy, explainability, and business suitability.
• Deliver documented workflows, prototypes, dashboards, recommendations, progress updates, and a final readout with a demo.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a four-year accredited college, university, or graduate program in good academic standing.
• Must have completed the sophomore year as an undergraduate before the internship starts, or have recently completed a degree.
• Basic understanding of hybrid work, workplace ethics, and effective communication.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft 365 and eagerness to learn.
• Analytical, critical-thinking, spreadsheet, organization, and planning skills, including Excel pivot tables and lookups.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot with responsible-use practices, including avoiding sensitive data, validating outputs, and documenting prompts.
• Ability to coordinate projects, facilitate work, support implementation, and analyze and synthesize information for problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with internal business partners, external members, and suppliers.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Power BI, including Power Query, visuals, and basic DAX; Power Automate; Databricks; SharePoint/OneDrive; and Teams, or similar coursework or project experience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
