1P Systems Lab Technical Program Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work model with 3 days in the office per week. Relocation assistance is available to new employees. Candidates may need to meet certain legal status requirements under U.S. export control laws.

Base salary: $257,000–$352,000 per year, plus equity, performance-related bonuses for eligible employees, and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end lab strategy, ensuring the capacity and capabilities required to deliver product roadmaps.
• Develop and deliver new lab facilities on schedule with internal teams and external general contractors.
• Influence lab design using lab infrastructure and datacenter construction knowledge, including trade-offs with internal and external partners.
• Manage ongoing lab availability for product bring-up, debugging, and development activities.
• Coordinate internal resources and communications for effective collaboration with partners and vendors.

Requirements

• Experience leading high-power lab or datacenter design programs as a Technical Program Manager or Engineer from site selection through completion.
• Knowledge of datacenter infrastructure and products, including servers, GPUs, TPUs, networking, storage, and product development (NPI) processes.
• Knowledge of lab infrastructure equipment requirements supporting product development.
• Experience taking products from concept to volume in a datacenter environment while ensuring system scalability and high quality.
