Senior Software Engineer (C++/C#)

Location: Fully remote from Czechia, Poland, Romania, or Hungary

What you will do

• Investigate customer-reported bugs and regressions to identify root causes, reproduce them with failing tests, and ship durable fixes.
• Maintain the native C# and C++ codebase across Windows, Linux, and macOS, keeping builds, tests, and releases reliable.
• Convert recurring issues into tests, tooling, or targeted refactors.
• Collaborate asynchronously with Support and other teams to reproduce difficult issues and unblock customers.
• Review code changes for correctness and unintended side effects.

Requirements

• Senior-level production experience solving complex problems in C# or C++, including memory, threading, and performance issues.
• AI-native approach, with coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex forming a major part of daily engineering work.
• Test-driven approach: reproduce bugs with failing tests before fixing them and verify side effects.
• Strong problem-solving skills in unfamiliar codebases and the ability to learn new areas independently.
• Ability to execute quickly, manage multiple issues, and maintain accuracy.
• Clear written communication for async collaboration, customer communication, incident handling, bug analyses, pull requests, and status updates.

Nice to have

• Experience with document formats such as PDF, TIFF, and Office files, as well as imaging, OCR, or data extraction.
