Senior Backend Engineer (.NET/C#) (Fintech)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services for payment processing and the back office, including reconciliation, payouts, fee calculation, settlements, and the B2B client dashboard.
• Build resilient integrations and asynchronous workflows using idempotency, outbox/inbox patterns, sagas, retries, and deduplication.
• Meet performance and reliability targets, including p95/p99 latency and SLA/SLO requirements, with monitoring and alerting.
• Deliver tasks with AI agents, validate generated code, add tests, and fix defects.
• Review code, maintain specifications, and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience with C# and ASP.NET Core, including designing microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Docker, AKS, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, and Cosmos DB.
• Practical experience with AI tools or agents, delivering tasks from definition to working results and explaining every line of shipped code.
• Strong focus on clean, maintainable code with tests.
• Strong ownership and open communication, especially when something goes wrong.

• Experience in payments or banking.
