Senior Project Manager (Satellite Analytics)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of geospatial and satellite-imagery projects to specification, on time, and within budget.
• Define scope, deliverables, data requirements, acceptance criteria, schedules, budgets, resources, quality benchmarks, and risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate satellite and imagery procurement, processing dependencies, third-party suppliers, and cross-functional capacity.
• Manage customer and internal stakeholders, including senior decision-makers, status reporting, scope negotiations, timelines, and change requests.
• Act as the technical customer counterpart by explaining hirify.global capabilities, understanding customer operations and pain points, and demonstrating measurable solution value.
• Capture lessons learned, improve delivery methodology, support solution adoption, and communicate recurring customer insights to product and commercial teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project management, sales engineering, or professional services engineering, plus a degree in business, IT, geoinformatics, remote sensing, surveying, or engineering.
• Proven end-to-end delivery of complex projects involving interdependent workstreams, planning, risk assessment, contingency planning, and agile practices.
• Experience managing senior customer stakeholders, negotiating scope, timelines, and change requests, and engaging directly with customers in professional working English.
• Experience shaping delivery methodology and good practices, and building reports and dashboards that show project status and performance and drive improvement.
• Ability to lead through influence rather than authority and work independently, reliably, and efficiently.
• Hands-on experience with GIS solutions.
• Daily, hands-on use of AI tools and agents such as Claude or ChatGPT for planning, reporting, analysis, and documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience in the earth observation or GIS industry.
• Knowledge of satellite technology and ML and DL algorithms.
• Working knowledge of a modern programming language, preferably Python.
• Professional project management certification from an accredited institution.
• Domain knowledge in utility vegetation management, transmission and distribution, rail asset data such as PLS-CADD, LiDAR, or photogrammetry.
• Other language skills.
