Senior Project Manager - Project Delivery (E-commerce)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-stakeholder IT implementations and SaaS onboardings.
• Manage scope, roadmaps, budgets, resource planning, risks, and production go-live.
• Act as a technical sparring partner for client architects, systems integrators, and engineering teams.
• Translate APIs, webhooks, microservices, and headless platform capabilities into project deliverables.
• Coordinate external implementation agencies and systems integrators, validating architectures, milestones, and quality gates.
• Lead status calls, steering committees, milestone reviews, and problem-solving across senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience independently managing large-scale, complex IT integration and e-commerce projects from scoping through production go-live.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture, headless/composable commerce, API-first environments including REST and GraphQL, microservices, and integrations with ERP, OMS, PIM, and payment gateways.
• Ability to understand technical constraints and data flows and constructively challenge technical estimates.
• German at least C1, fluent to business-fluent level, required for client steering, workshops, and DACH-market delivery communication.
• English C1, fluent, required for internal collaboration with international product and engineering teams.
• Strong practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum and hybrid delivery frameworks, Jira, Confluence, and project management tools.
• Experience governing external systems integrators, agencies, and cross-functional vendor teams without direct hierarchical authority.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent substantial technical project experience.

Nice to have

• Project management or Agile certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PSPO, or PSM.
• Experience with SaaS platform onboarding, enterprise e-commerce platforms, or systems consulting.
