Project Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Bremen, Germany; flexible working arrangement balancing remote and on-site work. Regular national and international travel is required.

What you will do

• Take overall responsibility for planning and delivering complex customer projects against schedule, cost, quality, and performance targets.
• Act as the primary interface for customers, suppliers, subcontractors, internal stakeholders, and senior management.
• Define project objectives, strategies, and technical requirements with customers and company leadership.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, resource plans, project controlling, and status reporting.
• Build, lead, and develop cross-functional project teams and coordinate internal and external partners.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities while driving change management and transparent communication.

Requirements

• Completed degree in an engineering discipline such as aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
• Several years of project management experience, ideally in the space, aerospace, or another high-technology industry, including leadership of complex technical projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, relevant standards, processes, and commercial aspects.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to balance technical, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills when interacting with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Proven leadership experience and the ability to motivate, develop, and guide cross-functional teams.
• Structured, solution-oriented, proactive working style with strong decision-making skills, customer focus, and a business-minded approach.
• Willingness to travel regularly nationally and internationally.
