Senior Manager, Workforce Management (Healthcare)

Location: Fully remote within the United States, including Massachusetts

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Build workforce management systems from the ground up, including scheduling models, capacity plans, staffing ratios, SOPs, playbooks, and governance for clinical teams.
• Translate strategic goals into operational workflows, staffing coverage models, and shift structures.
• Own demand forecasting, capacity planning, staffing models, and KPIs such as utilization, coverage gaps, and forecast accuracy.
• Analyze operational trends, build dashboards with Google Sheets, Looker, Cortex, or SQL, and present recommendations to leadership.
• Monitor intraday performance and make real-time adjustments to support SLA attainment, appointment completion, AHT, and shrinkage targets.
• Partner with operations, finance, and clinical leadership while continuously improving scheduling logic, forecasting models, and performance reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience driving high-impact operational initiatives and scaling complex processes, ideally in fast-paced startup environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Ability to operate transparently and adaptively in dynamic, rapidly changing conditions.
• People-first leadership style grounded in empathy, respect, collaboration, and customer success.
• Technical aptitude with workforce management systems and operational analytics.
• Ability to collaborate across operations, finance, and data teams; leveraging AI to analyze data.

Nice to have

• Ability to self-serve data using SQL queries.
• Previous healthcare experience.
• Lean Six Sigma training.
