Intelligent Automation Analyst (AI)

What you will do

• Identify automation, AI, and process-optimization opportunities across business operations.
• Analyze current-state workflows, pain points, risks, inefficiencies, costs, and expected benefits.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews; build business cases and prioritize automation pipelines.
• Design end-to-end intelligent automation solutions and document process designs, user stories, process maps, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with development and technical teams through design, build, testing, deployment, and post-implementation review.
• Support AI governance, responsible AI implementation, stakeholder communication, and achievement of agreed business outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, Intelligent Automation Analyst, or in a similar role, with strong business analysis and requirements-gathering expertise.
• Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder interviews, solving complex problems, improving processes, and translating business challenges into practical solutions.
• Experience with intelligent automation technologies and understanding of RPA platforms such as Blue Prism, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere.
• Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning, including exposure to Generative AI in operational settings, Agentic AI concepts, workflow orchestration, Intelligent Document Processing, and OCR.
• Ability to identify and assess suitable automation opportunities.
• Process modeling and documentation experience, including tools such as Jira, Confluence, and BPMN mapping solutions.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis capabilities; understanding of APIs, structured data formats, systems integration, software development lifecycles, and Agile delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, constructive influencing, ownership, accountability, independent working, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in Wealth Management, Financial Services, Investments, Pensions, or Platform Operations.
• Understanding of UK financial-services regulatory environments.
• Experience with Process Mining technologies.
• Blue Prism, UiPath, or Business Analysis certifications.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments.
