Strategic Finance Business Partner, Group Functions (12 month FTC)

Location: Hybrid, with an average of at least 1 day per week in hirify.global’s central London office; work from another location is permitted for up to 6 weeks per year.

Salary: £60,000–£70,000 based on experience.

What you will do

• Run forecasting, budgeting and in-year reforecasting for central group functions, linking plans to company strategy and KPIs.
• Improve forecasting processes and financial governance through better data integrity, systemisation and AI-enabled ways of working.
• Build and model in Pigment to improve reporting and forecasting.
• Manage investment cases from problem framing and business-case development through ROI testing, prioritisation and sign-off.
• Partner with Content, Product and Operations on CAPEX decisions and with S&OP stakeholders to balance demand and supply risk.
• Support overhead variance management, cash planning and working-capital optimisation.

Requirements

• Experience presenting forecasts and variance analysis to non-finance colleagues, including senior leaders, in writing and in person.
• A track record of improving finance processes, including automating manual reporting or planning with Excel, planning tools, data tools or AI tools.
• 2+ years of post-qualification experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance or Commercial Finance, with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience running budgeting and forecasting cycles and building financial models in Excel or a financial planning tool.
• Experience building investment or business cases and testing assumptions with budget holders.

Nice to have

• Experience in a subscription business with metrics such as LTV, churn and retention.
• Hands-on experience with a financial planning or EPM tool such as Pigment, including configuring or improving it to reduce manual planning work.
