Structural BIM Designer (Revit)

Location: Remote from the Philippines; flexible time zone hours with general availability between 9am–6pm AWST/PHT.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D structural steel and concrete models for Non-Process Infrastructure facilities in Revit.
• Translate engineers’ hand drawings, Bluebeam markups, and design notes into 3D models and 2D construction drawings.
• Federate vendor models in Navisworks, perform clash detection, and isolate structural or equipment packages.
• Interpret, draft, and edit PFDs and P&IDs in AutoCAD; produce layouts and full NPI site masterplans.
• Perform model and drawing self-checks and peer reviews against company standards, client specifications, and Australian Standards.
• Prepare engineering documents and reports and maintain records in document-control, Word, and Excel systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Engineering Drafting, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in drafting or engineering, preferably in mining, heavy industry, or NPI.
• Advanced AutoCAD 2D/3D and Revit skills for structural steel and concrete modelling.
• Practical Navisworks experience for viewing, clash detection, and model federation.
• Excellent technical writing skills for clear, compliant tender documents and engineering reports.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems; motivation to learn and tackle new challenges.
• Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Australian WA mining standards or Non-Process Infrastructure.
• Experience with modular and scalable infrastructure design.
• Experience creating P&IDs and PFDs in AutoCAD 2D.
• Strong Microsoft Teams proficiency.
