Content Creator Apprenticeship (Level 3, Music and Radio)

Location: London Broadcasting House; candidates must live within a commutable distance and be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK. The role includes travel to in-person learning blocks and apprenticeship-related activities across the UK where necessary.

Salary: £24,650 plus £5,441 London weighting.

What you will do

• Create trusted, high-quality content for hirify.global audiences.
• Research, write, produce and edit audio, video and written content across multiple platforms.
• Monitor audience trends and create social media content, including selecting and editing programme clips.
• Identify opportunities for short clips, behind-the-scenes content, interviews and talent-led extras.
• Listen to new music, edit audio, support the management team and contribute to live events including Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Glastonbury.
• Attend on-the-job and off-the-job learning blocks while working toward the Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship qualification.

Requirements

• Non-graduate status; no prior learning is required to apply.
• Passion for music, events, radio and creating content for audiences.
• Fresh, creative ideas for engaging new audiences and awareness of content on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram.
• Adaptability to switch between serious, issue-based content and fun, high-energy entertainment.
• Organisation, motivation, collaboration and confidence working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Discipline and commitment to complete the apprenticeship.
• At least 18 years old by the apprenticeship start in September 2027.
• Continuous UK residence for the three years before the apprenticeship starts.
• Legal eligibility to work full-time in the UK for the entire 15-month apprenticeship.
• Must not currently be enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.
• Applicants under 19 on 8 September 2027 must have or achieve the specified Maths and English GCSE, National 5, Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent qualification requirements.

Nice to have

• Existing relevant experience or qualifications, which may allow the individual learning plan and apprenticeship duration to be adjusted.
