HR Specialist (EOR)

Location: Romania (Remote-First); other location: Milan, Italy

Annual gross base salary: 138,400–173,000 RON

What you will do

• Own employee onboarding, lifecycle events, terminations, and the overall employee experience.
• Manage complex employee-relations cases, attend sensitive meetings, and draft legally sound documentation.
• Advise clients on benefits, compliance, workforce planning, employment contracts, risk mitigation, performance improvement plans, and salary changes.
• Manage relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal advisors.
• Provide in-country HR expertise across Southern Europe, including immigration and mobility support.
• Lead compliance governance, knowledge transfer, global HR standardization, process optimization, automation, and AI adoption.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of HR experience.
• Fluent French and English required; additional languages are a bonus.
• Deep knowledge of labour laws and employment regulations across Southern Europe, with a focus on France and portage salarial.
• Experience supporting complex employee-relations matters.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical proficiency with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom, Slack, and similar collaboration tools.

• Knowledge of the Employer of Record industry.
• Experience working across additional Southern European countries.
