HR Generalist (Gaming)

Location: Hybrid in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for local teams, focusing on Operations.
• Partner with hiring managers, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, make hiring recommendations, and guide offers.
• Build talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Track and monitor occupational licensure for the New Jersey team, including applications, renewals, and status changes.
• Answer employee HR questions, maintain records and documentation, and coordinate onboarding.
• Collaborate with IT, office management, local leaders, and the North America HR team while monitoring workplace needs and resolving risks.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of HR experience with a strong recruiting background.
• Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of New Jersey employment practices.
• Sound judgment, discretion, and a trustworthy approach to confidential information.
• People-first attitude and communication skills that put people at ease.
• Ownership and confidence to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfort with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in a regulated industry such as gaming or financial services.
• Familiarity with occupational or gaming licensing.
• UKG experience.
