Logistics Operations Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Hybrid work model with on-site work at hirify.global sites in Kulim or Penang, Malaysia

hirify.global Foundry's Logistics organization manages the movement of materials, equipment, and finished goods supporting manufacturing and global customer delivery.

What you will do

• Manage inbound, interplant, and outbound logistics operations for materials, equipment, and finished goods.
• Own dock operations for site start-up, ramp, and steady-state execution.
• Monitor logistics KPIs, compliance requirements, operational standards, and readiness for capacity growth and customer ramps.
• Analyze logistics processes and data to identify inefficiencies, defects, and continuous-improvement opportunities.
• Track, escalate, and resolve shipping, warehouse, carrier, and execution exceptions while leading critical logistics escalations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external logistics providers to improve cost efficiency, speed, quality, reliability, and supply-chain execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of logistics operations or third-party logistics management experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a Master's degree.
• Expertise in warehouse operations, compliance protocols, supplier governance, and end-to-end execution management.
• Strong analytical skills, including translating data into actionable decisions and sustained operational improvements, plus proficiency monitoring logistics KPIs.
• Experience managing EHS risks in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial operations involving chemical handling, scheduled waste, high-value scrap, or hazardous materials.
• Working knowledge of warehouse chemical-management requirements, including Safety Data Sheets, chemical compatibility, labeling, segregation, secondary containment, spill response, and emergency preparedness.
• Experience with operational risk assessment, control design, incident investigation, corrective action, compliance management, business processes, SOPs, control plans, and performance-management mechanisms.

• Experience in dynamic operational environments, customer ramps, operational transformations, or large-scale logistics readiness initiatives.
• Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder-management, ownership, and independent leadership skills.
• Experience leading logistics quality programs, risk assessments, operational controls, and corrective/preventive action initiatives.
• Knowledge of logistics security, safety, regulatory compliance, and risk-management frameworks.
• Training or certification in EHS, chemical safety, scheduled-waste management, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, business process management, or risk management.
• Experience with EHS and chemical-management controls in semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or other high-technology environments.
• Knowledge of Malaysian warehouse requirements, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act, Environmental Quality Regulations, and scheduled-waste management requirements.
• Familiarity with HIRARC, FMEA, Management of Change, control self-assessments, and CAPA.
• Experience managing third-party warehouse, scrap, recycling, waste-disposal, or chemical-handling service providers.
