Senior Ocean Operations Associate (Logistics)

What you will do

• Build operational performance frameworks, processes, and tools for measuring Ocean Partner performance in the local market.
• Route cargo to ocean carrier contracts using cost, transit time, and allocation availability criteria.
• Manage performance across freight-forwarding, customs, and ocean carrier partners using metrics, targets, dashboards, and reporting.
• Identify operational gaps, standardize processes, and develop solutions with internal teams and external partners.
• Identify training needs, design and deliver partner training programs, and create enablement resources for internal teams.
• Define operational performance and product adoption metrics and prepare analysis for monthly and quarterly partner reviews.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 5+ years of professional logistics or supply chain experience.
• Experience with Ocean Export Operations (TPEB), including shipments from East Asia to the USA and Canada.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to produce analysis, insights, and strategic recommendations.
• Strategic vision combined with ground-floor execution and experience managing programs and initiatives end to end.
• Ability to identify mutually beneficial commercial and operational opportunities and create data-driven insights for decisions and process improvements.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to influence others globally.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a broad perspective.
• A compliance-first attitude in a heavily regulated industry and willingness to challenge and fix ineffective processes.
