Technical Project Manager (EF Simulation Programs)

Location: Manching, Germany; on-site activities. The role is available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

What you will do

• Define technical content for bids, proposals, project scope, and technical work breakdown structures for Training Aids.
• Collect and analyze customer technical and general requirements, estimate effort, and define required project resources.
• Monitor engineering deliverables from central engineering and suppliers throughout the project life cycle.
• Organize and lead maturity reviews with customers and industry, including SRR, PDR, CDR, SS-CDR, and IRR.
• Coordinate End2End and operational Acceptance Test Manuals and prepare Customer Attended Acceptance Testing.
• Lead qualification and Ready for Training activities, report project status, and conduct meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Sciences.
• At least 10 years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and the V&V framework.
• Experience in the training and flight simulation industry.
• Experience with the EF programme, such as aircraft or training, is highly recommended.
• Experience using Confluence and JIRA for task management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Good written and spoken English is required for work in a multicultural environment.
