Project Manager (m/f/d) Information Security & Regulatory Compliance

Location: Remscheid, Germany. Hybrid work is offered, with the option to work remotely from a country within the European Union.

Gross annual salary above the collective bargaining agreement, including base pay and bonus.

What you will do

• Take end-to-end responsibility for the company-wide implementation of the Cyber Resilience Act.
• Translate regulatory requirements into roadmaps, security processes, policies, controls, and technical measures.
• Coordinate Cybersecurity, IT Architecture, Product Development, Compliance, Legal, and Quality Management.
• Develop implementation paths and maturity concepts while considering technical and organizational dependencies.
• Perform gap analyses, risk assessments, conformity evaluations, and risk-based prioritization of measures.
• Monitor regulatory developments, represent the company before authorities, auditors, and certification bodies, and communicate progress to senior management and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Informatics, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Solid or multi-year professional experience in information security and its regulatory environment.
• Experience in project management and international environments, including projects with more than 10 people and budget responsibility.
• Experience with IT and cybersecurity standards and regulations, including CRA, NIS2, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and IEC 62443.
• Strong understanding of product and OT security, including embedded systems, firmware, software, and mobile apps.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into pragmatic technical measures.
• Reliable, precise, independent, and goal-oriented working style with intercultural competence.
• Fluent English and German communication skills are required.
