Regional Site Execution Excellence Manager (Nov 2026)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia; Jakarta, Indonesia; Bangkok, Thailand. Extensive travel across the Asia Pacific and China region and direct work on active construction sites are required.

What you will do

• Provide on-site advisory support during project execution, covering civil works, electrical installation, site supervision, and operational site management.
• Coach site managers and supervisors on site organization, planning, contractor coordination, progress tracking, and issue resolution.
• Assess and improve contractor productivity, workmanship quality, and compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
• Support tender teams with execution knowledge for cost and time estimates, supplier selection, and competitive bids.
• Troubleshoot execution challenges and support corrective actions for EHS, quality, safety, and site performance issues.
• Identify recurring risks, share lessons learned with the regional PMO and governance organization, and escalate critical execution, safety, and quality risks.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience in site execution and site management for energy, infrastructure, or EPC/turnkey projects; substations, grid solutions, or comparable environments are preferred.
• Strong practical understanding of civil works and electrical installation on complex construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of offer management and the ability to support tender teams with cost and time estimates and supplier selections.
• Solid knowledge of EHS and Quality Management principles in site execution environments.
• Ability to advise, coach, and influence site teams and contractors without direct line authority.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach with credibility among supervisors, contractors, and project managers.
• Ability to identify risks early, communicate clearly, and escalate constructively.
• Experience working across Asia Pacific and China, including awareness of regional regulatory, cultural, and contractor-market differences.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel extensively and work directly on active construction sites.

Nice to have

• Experience in substations, grid solutions, or comparable energy infrastructure environments.
• Additional regional language skills.
