Assistant Manager, Process Engineer (Chonburi-Based)

Location: T. Nongchak, A. Ban Bueng, Chon Buri, Thailand; onsite, Chonburi-based.

Engineering role supporting Global ODM Quality Engineering across supplier and factory operations.

What you will do

• Onboard new factories and support factory transitions and setup.
• Review and develop manufacturing processes from SMT through final assembly and repair operations.
• Provide technical support to ODM manufacturing partners and drive continuous improvement.
• Assess, communicate, and mitigate operational risks while maintaining ODM factory quality and high yield rates.
• Optimize production UPH and capacity, conduct end-of-line quality audits, and implement shift-left practices.
• Lead weekly quality reviews and periodic supplier audits, including process audits and QSA, and support closure of identified gaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in SMT, Mechanical Assembly, Test, and Industrial Engineering.
• Good knowledge of PC Product Engineering.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical-thinking capabilities.
• Ability to apply Lean Manufacturing to optimize operational activities and remain flexible and calm amid uncertainty.
• Ability to work collaboratively, understand team capabilities and priorities, and foster a collaborative environment.
• Excellent written and fluent English and proficiency in the local language.
• Ability to communicate manufacturing proposals and results effectively and negotiate options at management levels.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills using Six Sigma techniques.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
• Proficient expertise in Design for Excellence (DFx) techniques.
