Applied Data and AI Apprentice - Birmingham

Location: Birmingham, UK; hybrid working with regular office attendance, including most days during the initial settling-in period. Applicants must have valid UK Right to Work, and the visa end date must extend beyond the apprenticeship programme.

Salary: £27,400 fixed apprenticeship salary.

What you will do

• Work with large, complex, and messy datasets to identify patterns and generate useful insights.
• Use SQL, advanced data joins, statistical programming, Python, predictive modelling, and forecasting.
• Create data visualisations, dashboards, and data products for business users and leaders.
• Support fraud prevention and help customers make smarter financial decisions.
• Make data accessible, ethical, and useful across the organisation.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old on 1 September 2027.
• Achieved GCSE grades 4–9 in both Maths and English.
• Three A levels at grades CCC; predicted grades are accepted, but any offer is conditional on successful achievement.
• Currently hold valid UK Right to Work; the visa end date must extend beyond the apprenticeship programme.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this apprenticeship role.
