Data Analyst Apprenticeship - Level 4 (Python)

Location: London - Television Centre; you must live within a commutable distance and be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the apprenticeship duration.

Salary: £24,650 per year plus £5,441 London Weighting.

What you will do

• Work with real data to identify trends, solve problems and support decision-making.
• Collect, analyse and present data as clear insights.
• Create reports and visualisations that help colleagues understand and act on performance information.
• Learn how data supports services, projects and organisational performance.
• Apply data privacy, ethics and responsible data-use principles.
• Complete a Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship, including at least one study day per week through Cambridge Spark.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old by the apprenticeship start in September 2027.
• Have lived continuously in the UK for the three years before the apprenticeship starts.
• Be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the entire 18-month apprenticeship.
• Identify as deaf, disabled or neurodivergent and meet the relevant Equality Act 2010 or Disability Discrimination Act 1995 definition.
• Be a non-graduate and not hold qualifications in the apprenticeship subject at the same or higher level.
• Not currently be enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.
• Have Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or above, National 5 at C, or an equivalent qualification.
• Have achieved, or expect to achieve by the start of the scheme, A Level or Higher Maths.
• Be interested in data, numbers, Excel, maths and logical thinking, with organisational, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Be able to manage multiple deadlines, remain calm during change, work flexibly and adapt to out-of-hours working.
