Data Analyst Apprenticeship - Level 4 - Finance - London

Location: London Broadcasting House; you must live within a commutable distance of the role. The apprenticeship begins in September 2027 and may involve training travel across the UK.

Salary: £24,650 plus £5,441 London Weighting.

What you will do

• Collect, verify, analyse, and present sustainability data.
• Use the carbon accounting platform and support carbon-footprint measurement.
• Work with real data to identify trends, solve problems, and support decision-making.
• Create reports and visualisations that turn information into clear insights for colleagues.
• Learn how data supports services, projects, and organisational performance.
• Apply data privacy, ethics, and responsible data-use principles.

Requirements

• Be 18 or older by the apprenticeship start in September 2027.
• Have lived continuously in the UK for the three years before the apprenticeship starts.
• Be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the entire apprenticeship.
• Be a non-graduate and not already hold a qualification in the same subject at the same or a higher level.
• Not be enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.
• Have maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or above, National 5 at C, or an equivalent qualification.
• Have achieved or expect to achieve A Level/Higher maths by the start of the scheme.
• Show interest in data, numbers, Excel spreadsheets, maths, logical thinking, sustainability data, measurement, and reporting.
• Demonstrate organisation, problem-solving, negotiation, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
