Data Analyst Apprenticeship - Level 4 - Birmingham (Data Analysis)

Location: Birmingham – The Mailbox, UK; applicants must live within a commutable distance. Relocation support may be available subject to financial eligibility.

What you will do

• Work with real data to identify trends, solve problems and support decision-making.
• Collect, analyse and present data as clear insights.
• Create reports and visualisations that help colleagues understand and act on information.
• Support planning, governance, demand, resource, financial performance and operational delivery for the Skills & Capability function.
• Learn responsible approaches to data privacy, ethics and data use.
• Complete at least one study day per week toward a Level 4 Data Analyst qualification through Cambridge Spark.

Requirements

• Must be aged 18 or over by the start of the apprenticeship in September 2027.
• Must have lived continuously in the UK for the three years before the apprenticeship starts and be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the full duration.
• This scheme is for non-graduates; applicants must not already hold a qualification in the same subject at the same or higher level.
• Must not currently be enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.
• Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above, National 5 at C, or an equivalent qualification.
• Achieved or expected to achieve A Level/Higher Maths by the start of the scheme.
• Interest in data, numbers, Excel spreadsheets, maths and logical thinking.
• Strong organisation, problem-solving, negotiation, prioritisation, adaptability and communication skills, with flexibility for out-of-hours working.
