Applied Data and AI Apprentice (Data and AI)

Location: Bristol, UK; hybrid working with office attendance required at least two days per week, while apprentices are expected to work from the office most days during the initial settling-in period. Relocation closer to the office is strongly recommended if the commute exceeds 1.5 hours.

Salary: £27,400 fixed apprenticeship salary.

What you will do

• Work with large, complex datasets to identify patterns and generate actionable insights.
• Use SQL, advanced data joins, Python, statistical programming, predictive modelling, and forecasting.
• Create data visualisations, dashboards, and data products for business users and leaders.
• Help detect fraud and support smarter customer financial decisions.
• Make data accessible, ethical, and useful through analytics lifecycles and data democratisation.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old on 1 September 2027.
• Achieved GCSE grades 4–9 in both Maths and English.
• Three A levels at grades CCC; predicted grades are accepted, but any offer is conditional on successful achievement.
• Must currently possess valid Right to Work in the UK.
• The visa end date must extend beyond the apprenticeship programme duration.
• Must be able to attend the Bristol office in line with contractual hybrid-working expectations.
