Business Analytics Lead

Location: NY, New York, United States; hybrid work policy with flexible in-office days.

Base pay: $150,000–$225,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead high-impact, non-routine analyses that support senior leadership decisions.
• Build financial and operational models, including projections, scenario evaluations, and cost-benefit cases.
• Prepare executive decision materials and translate quantitative findings into clear narratives.
• Identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities, partner with Engineering on implementation, and supervise results.
• Build datasets, metrics, and dashboards to make analyses repeatable and connect technology efforts to business outcomes.
• Design Engineering resource-allocation frameworks, manage recurring planning reviews, and align Engineering, Product, Modeling, Finance, and Corporate stakeholders.

Requirements

• BS degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• At least 1 year of experience; 3–7 years preferred in business analytics, management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate finance, technical program management, or a comparable role.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including forecasts, scenario analyses, and business cases based on large and imperfect datasets.
• Experience structuring and writing presentations for senior leaders and influencing consequential decisions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including the ability to explain technical and financial details in business-friendly language.
• Collaborative working style, strong planning and project management skills, and the ability to deliver several concurrent cross-functional workstreams with explicit timelines.
• Ability to structure open-ended questions and make progress in ambiguous situations without detailed information.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with technology or infrastructure economics.
• Experience using GenAI tools to accelerate work.
