Consultant / Senior Consultant - Forward-Deployed Business Analyst (Financial Services)

Location: Charlotte, NC, United States. Hybrid workplace: client engagements may require onsite work, and between engagements consultants must work from a hirify.global office or approved coworking location at least three days per week. Candidates should live within reasonable commuting distance of a hirify.global location.

Base salary: $80,000–$116,000 yearly, plus an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Apply AI, GenAI, no-code, low-code, automation, and analytics tools to accelerate research, analysis, documentation, prototyping, process mapping, and delivery.
• Work with client business, operations, product, data, and technology teams to define objectives, constraints, priorities, and outcomes.
• Assess processes, systems, data flows, risks, dependencies, and pain points to support operating-model transformation, system implementations, and process optimization.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, data requirements, business rules, acceptance criteria, and solution documentation.
• Support solution design, workflow optimization, integration planning, UAT, validation, and implementation readiness across front-, middle-, and back-office platforms.
• Own workstreams, manage risks and dependencies, prepare client-ready deliverables, and support proposals, business development, and financial-services thought leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, AI Engineering & Computing, Computer Science, Data Science, Financial Engineering, or a related field; candidates with non-technical degrees may be considered with prior consulting experience.
• Relevant experience: 1+ years for Consultant candidates or 3+ years for Senior Consultant candidates within financial services. Experience must demonstrate business problem-solving, analytical thinking, professional communication, and use of AI tools for research, analysis, documentation, or deliverables.
• Foundational ability to use AI/GenAI tools, prompt engineering, and modern productivity platforms for business analysis, requirements gathering, process documentation, research, testing support, and stakeholder-ready deliverables.
• Ability to validate and improve AI-generated outputs using responsible AI governance concepts.
• Ability to use Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and related tools for data analysis, insights, analytics, presentations, and communications.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, ownership, teamwork, and intellectual curiosity in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
• Foundational understanding of, or demonstrated interest in, financial-services products, operations, regulatory requirements, technology, and business processes.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout employment.
