Procurement Specialist (Automotive Projects)

Location: Liszki, near Krakow, Poland

What you will do

• Review BOMs, maintain procurement tracking lists, and define prototype quantities, spare parts, and delivery schedules.
• Identify and manage suppliers, including NDA administration, RFQ preparation, and quotation clarification.
• Analyze supplier offers across cost, lead time, capability, and risk; support supplier selection and commercial negotiations.
• Place purchase orders after approval and monitor execution, deliveries, risks, and procurement status.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, quality, and logistics teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; a technical background is preferred.
• At least 4–5 years of purchasing experience in the automotive industry, preferably in the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) area.
• Ability to understand technical documentation and BOM structures.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing processes and strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• MS Excel and analytical capabilities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a project environment; proactive, detail-oriented, and results-oriented approach.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
