Principal Trainer - IT Applications (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid; must reside in Arizona. Deer Valley, Phoenix, Arizona; Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Travel to any hirify.global and affiliated sites is required.

What you will do

• Facilitate end-user training for application go-lives, releases, upgrades, optimization requests, project rollouts, and new employee orientation.
• Develop, maintain, and implement curriculum, simulations, e-learning content, bulletins, and end-user tip sheets.
• Build and maintain training environments as application releases and workflow changes occur.
• Provide at-the-elbow support for new providers and other end users after initial training.
• Collaborate with business operations, EMR teams, IT analysts, management, subject matter experts, and business owners to align workflows and training content.
• Review application enhancements and upgrades, support implementation and training plans, use IT project management tools, and participate in an off-hours support rotation.

Requirements

• Associate degree or two years of related experience in Information Systems, Healthcare, Business, education, instructional design, or a related field.
• Two years of training experience with EMR systems or other software applications, or two years of teaching/instructional design experience, plus knowledge of healthcare operations.
• Certification for the assigned application must be obtained within the designated timeframe according to policy.
• Must be able to reside in Arizona, work the stated hybrid schedule, and travel to hirify.global and affiliated sites.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in a licensed clinical discipline, nursing, or another relevant field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Education, Information Systems, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Five years of EMR training experience and experience developing curricula with e-learning software.
