Senior Learning Design Professional (Healthcare)

Location: 100% remote within the United States; must work Eastern Standard Time business hours. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $71,100–$97,800 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design and develop role-based learning solutions for new hires and existing associates supporting the Provider Contact Center.
• Conduct needs analyses, identify knowledge or performance gaps, and create targeted learning experiences using instructional design, cognitive psychology, and adult learning theory.
• Develop storyboards, eLearning, instructor-led content, virtual and blended learning materials, facilitator guides, activities, assessments, and evaluation tools.
• Write learning objectives and performance assessments, then evaluate learner satisfaction, proficiency, performance change, operational metrics, and business impact.
• Validate content with subject matter experts and operational partners, maintain current curricula and agendas, and ensure design and quality standards are met.
• Establish development timelines and milestones, communicate progress, respond to feedback, and guide facilitators, including through Train the Trainer sessions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of learning design experience with adult learners and at least 3 years of experience developing curriculum content, eLearning programs, and virtual learning solutions.
• At least 2 years of technical experience with Articulate 360, including Storyline and/or Rise.
• Progressive business experience focused on eLearning strategies and adult learning theories.
• Excellent writing, grammar, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong emotional intelligence, organizational, attention-to-detail, and analytical skills, with flexibility in a fast-paced environment involving changing processes and multiple priorities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or similar tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time business hours.
• Must maintain a dedicated, interruption-free workspace that protects member PHI/HIPAA information.
• Self-provided internet must provide at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Learning and Performance, Education, Communications, Performance Consulting, Industrial/Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of consumer-facing experience.
• Experience in Medicaid, Medicare, provider business lines, contact centers, healthcare, or insurance; contact center learning and development for a Fortune top 100 organization is strongly preferred.
• Project management experience and/or PMP certification.
• Facilitation experience and proficiency designing virtual instructor-led training.
• Experience developing and managing courses in a learning management system.
• Experience measuring learning solutions and linking results to performance.
