What you will do

• Train end users on EPIC, electronic health records, referral, CRM, contact-center, and other technical systems.
• Validate and train staff on workflows for new and updated software products across varied audiences.
• Maintain training materials and update curricula for software upgrades and system builds.
• Serve as a primary credentialed trainer during clinical system implementations under the guidance of the Principal Trainer and Training Manager.
• Support end users one-to-one in clinics and other healthcare environments, and assist with Tip Sheet development.
• Complete implementation tasks and collaborate with internal personnel, business owners, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of direct progressive experience implementing Electronic Health Records systems in a large healthcare organization.
• At least 1 year of experience in performance improvement, project management, or program management.
• Previous experience supporting EPIC training and certification programs.
• At least 1 year of technical training experience with Epic systems for clinical staff, including providers, nurses, and medical assistants, together with adult training principles.
• At least 1 year of experience in education, organizational development, or a training-related position.
• Experience maintaining collaborative relationships with internal personnel, business owners, and stakeholders.
• Intermediate proficiency with Windows-based applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and SharePoint.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, IT, computer science, or a related area.
• Instruction experience at a secondary, collegiate, or adult school level, or 2 years of technical training experience with medical or dental devices.
• At least 1 year of program or project management experience providing cross-functional coordination.
• Experience rolling out complex training programs to 1,500 or more people.
• Experience analyzing curricula and providing feedback to improve learning outcomes.
• Experience supporting EPIC training at different stages of go-live.
• Experience in healthcare environments involving clinical and business applications, training, and education.
• Informatics certifications or credentialing.
