Sr. Director Operations Engineering - C&I

What you will do

• Lead operations engineering for new product introductions from early design involvement through production ramp and sustained performance.
• Drive operational integration of new sites, acquisitions, and expanded capacity, including facility transformation and hirify.global Fulfillment System deployment.
• Plan and execute product moves and technology transfers between facilities and external supply chain partners.
• Develop and deploy enterprise operations engineering standards, lean methodologies, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage major cost, quality, delivery, capital, and budget initiatives across facilities.
• Lead, coach, and develop engineers and project managers across sites and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or Industrial Technology.
• 10+ years of related experience in Operations Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production, including leading new product launches and product transfers.
• 5+ years of increasing responsibility in project and/or people management involving a broad range of operational technologies and processes.
• Strong knowledge of new product development, PFMEA, operations engineering, lean principles, continuous improvement, and end-to-end supply chain principles.
• Experience in both high-mix, low-volume and high-volume, low-mix production environments.
• Ability to assess and manage end-to-end processes, develop standards across multiple sites, and address strategic and tactical issues hands-on.
• Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution, organizational, written, oral communication, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills, including the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Proficiency with a CAD platform such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ProE, as well as MS Office and ERP platforms.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Project Management certification such as PMP.
• Experience deploying enterprise processes and standards internally and with external supply chain partners.
• Experience leading operations integrations, facility transformations, and multi-site product transfers.
• Experience in an international company, matrix organizations, and multi-site support.
• Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP, facilities engineering, and CMMS systems.
• Large-scale project management experience.
