Project Manufacturing Engineer (Automation)

What you will do

• Optimize assembly methods, production processes, equipment performance, cycle times, and materials to support production targets.
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities and deliver projects within schedule, quality, and cost requirements.
• Design and develop automation solutions that reduce labor requirements, improve efficiency, and maintain product quality.
• Define working sequences for new automated production processes and approve internally or externally developed process designs.
• Create test specifications, lead testing and approval activities, and support equipment and process start-up.
• Manage project budgets, analyze production performance, remove bottlenecks, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process automation, or production optimization.
• Experience with automated production systems and industrial equipment.
• Proficiency with CAD and simulation tools, as well as test management platforms.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and apply continuous improvement and operational excellence practices.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PLCs, industrial controls, and automation systems.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience.
