What you will do

• Gather and translate client and business requirements into functional, scalable automated data extracts and technical solutions.
• Deliver and support client reporting through files, dashboards, data warehouse feeds, and Snowflake data shares, including onboarding and ongoing support.
• Conduct feasibility studies, define system requirements, and design and develop solutions for complex data-processing projects.
• Balance project, release, and production-support priorities while communicating timelines and trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Coordinate testing, documentation, user manuals, training, project planning, and work-effort estimation.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex system, data, and reporting issues.

Requirements

• Five or more years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience analyzing requirements and developing technical or automated solutions for data, reporting, systems, or process-improvement initiatives with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake.
• Working knowledge of financial products and their representation in trade, position, pricing, and cash activity data, including equities, fixed income, FX, listed and OTC derivatives, interest rate swaps, credit default swaps and indices, total return swaps, and options.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and follow work through to completion.

Nice to have

• Experience with Sigma, Alteryx, Power BI, Python, or xCeptor.
• Experience in a structured Software Development Life Cycle environment.
• Familiarity with Atlassian, Azure DevOps, or similar project management and development tools.
• Previous experience in financial services or hedge fund operations.
• A college or university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
