Business Analytics Consultant Senior (Regulatory Reporting)

Location: In-office in Pittsburgh, PA; Birmingham, AL; or Cleveland, OH, United States

Base salary: $75,000–$125,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Analyze regulatory reporting data, perform reconciliations and variance investigations, and support remediation of reporting issues.
• Assess regulatory, business, product, organizational, and system changes affecting reporting processes, calculations, and data requirements.
• Translate regulatory requirements into business, data, and reporting requirements with Finance, Risk, Data, Technology, and Regulatory Reporting stakeholders.
• Execute validation activities, testing strategies, test cases, and procedures for regulatory reporting changes.
• Document data lineage, source-to-target mappings, business requirements, controls, process flows, and reporting evidence.
• Support audits, regulatory examinations, governance improvements, reporting transformations, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience in business analysis, data analysis, testing, reconciliation, or regulatory reporting within financial services.
• Proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools used to validate and investigate reporting data.
• Understanding of data lineage, source-to-target mappings, and data governance concepts.
• Experience evaluating data quality issues, conducting investigations, and documenting findings.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills, including engagement with business and technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with bank regulatory reporting such as FFIEC 031, FR Y-9C, FR Y-15, TIC, FR 009, or similar filings.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting governance, controls, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience with requirements analysis, impact assessments, testing, or validation in regulatory reporting.
• Experience with Axiom or equivalent regulatory reporting platforms.
• Experience supporting regulatory remediation, reporting transformations, or strategic regulatory change initiatives.
