Associate, Technical Project Management (Fintech)

Location: Wilmington, Massachusetts, United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Base pay: $82,500–$140,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Establish and continuously improve processes for strategic project intake, refinement, prioritization, planning, governance, and execution.
• Partner with senior leaders, stakeholders, Product, Development, Engineering, Operations, and business teams to evaluate initiatives and align them with roadmaps, capacity, and strategic priorities.
• Develop and manage project plans covering scope, requirements, milestones, staffing, dependencies, deliverables, and success measures.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and provide people leadership, coaching, development, prioritization support, and feedback to one direct report.
• Facilitate Agile planning, execution, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain portfolio reporting and communicate progress, outcomes, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and resource needs to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience managing projects, programs, portfolios, or strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated success establishing or improving project intake, prioritization, planning, governance, and execution processes.
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation and completion.
• Experience applying Agile methodologies and partnering across Product, Development, Engineering, Operations, and other business functions.
• Strong project planning, resource management, risk management, organizational, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills, including influencing without direct authority.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into project plans, deliverables, resource requirements, and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to operate effectively in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities and ambiguity.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, and/or financial services.
• Prior people leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar certification.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
