Sr Project Manager - Tech

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States

Base salary: $120,000–$155,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end delivery of high-profile technology projects and small to medium-sized programs or releases.
• Manage budgets of approximately $5 million to $10 million or more, including scope, schedule, quality, risks, resources, and financial accountability.
• Develop project visions, plans, objectives, milestones, deliverables, communication plans, and success measures.
• Coordinate business partners, vendors, employees, contractors, and onshore and offshore resources.
• Lead project readiness, testing, quality reviews, status reporting, post-implementation reviews, and issue escalation.
• Champion project management best practices and mentor Project Managers and Project Coordinators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience, including 7 or more years across all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Expert understanding of business functions, management issues, IT systems, and organizational capabilities.
• Demonstrated success delivering large-scale technology projects within schedule, budget, quality, and business objectives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, coordinate cross-functional teams, and work with employee and contract resources.

Nice to have

• PMP, PMI-ACI, PMI-RMP, or PMI-SP certification.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Expertise in project management methodologies, processes, and industry-standard tools.
