Project Manager III (Fintech)

Location: Primarily remote within the United States; candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of an office, with occasional on-site presence required. Office location: Tempe, Arizona.

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year, depending on location, experience, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Manage large-scale, complex projects and initiatives from initiation through delivery, ensuring on-time, high-quality completion within budget.
• Develop and monitor operational plans, requirements, scope, cost, resources, schedules, budgets, and milestones.
• Coordinate internal business functions, software development, information security, IT, customer service, training, legal, procurement, finance, external stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Lead complex customizations, new application functionality, framework enhancements, and solutions where no existing roadmap or internal subject-matter expertise is available.
• Anticipate, negotiate, escalate, and resolve issues, conflicts, feasibility questions, and complex scope changes with stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Prepare program reports, support accurate estimation and billing, optimize delivery costs and revenue, make project-impacting decisions, and mentor less experienced project managers.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent training and work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Bachelor’s degree; no designated field is required.
• High-level understanding of software development methodologies.
• Technical knowledge necessary to manage software and technology-related projects.
• Experience or capability in SAFe, Agile, and PMP-based project management.
• Ability to manage complex projects across multiple business segments, corporate shared services, internal functional areas, and external stakeholders.
