Project Manager

Location: Newark, NJ, United States

Salary: $115,000–$125,000 per year; bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Plan, monitor, and manage internal projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage budgets, risks, changes, and schedules.
• Establish milestones, monitor master plans, identify project problems, and obtain solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
• Develop and execute function strategy, influence resource allocation, and implement short- to mid-term strategies.
• Collaborate with executives, customers, senior leaders, departments, functions, and external organizations.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in project, program, or general management.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Negotiation and conflict-resolution skills, including the ability to create an open environment for resolving project-priority and funding conflicts objectively.
• High-level understanding of technical concepts related to the company’s industry and products or services.
• Ability to create and deliver executive-level summary reports and presentations.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
