Real Estate Portfolio Manager

Location: New York, United States; hybrid working model with regular in-person office collaboration

Salary: $122,000–$208,000 per year, excluding incentive compensation and other remuneration.

What you will do

• Develop relationships with existing and new clients and create single-asset and multi-asset investment programmes, funds, and SMAs.
• Analyse investment opportunities through market research, financial analysis, and complex financial modelling.
• Support investment pipelines, underwriting, due diligence, structuring, financing, and closing with transaction teams.
• Contribute to investment committee and investment vehicle board meetings.
• Manage external fund valuers and other third-party providers, regulatory oversight, investor reporting, and client audits.
• Support ESG objectives, including preparation of annual fund sustainability plans.

Requirements

• Proven commercial real estate experience in Private Equity, Transaction Advisory, or Portfolio Management.
• Experience managing complex client relationships to retain existing clients and grow new business.
• Experience managing risk controls in an investment environment, with sound knowledge of fiduciary duty of care and diligence.
• Good understanding of accounting and experience in financial analysis and modelling, with advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work in teams, under pressure, within tight deadlines, and across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying critical judgment for responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
• Effectiveness in managing multidisciplinary external teams and strong organisational skills for prioritising competing demands.
• Degree-level education in a related financial subject or relevant professional experience.
