Research Analyst & Content Writer – Private Assets R&D (Finance)

Location: Hybrid role in New York, New York, United States

Salary: $151,000–$196,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus

What you will do

• Query private-assets databases, generate original analyses, and develop data insights for clients using supervised AI where appropriate.
• Create accurate charts and data visualizations that communicate analytical findings and follow hirify.global standards.
• Draft and refine commentary on charts, data findings, and market trends while preserving quantitative precision and methodological accuracy.
• Review Private Assets content from Product, Marketing, external writers, and AI tools for factual consistency with hirify.global data and methodologies.
• Contribute to recurring data-driven publications, coordinate deliverables across R&D, and manage multiple publication workstreams to agreed deadlines.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Product, researchers, and subject-matter experts while establishing scalable quality-control approaches for AI-assisted content.

Requirements

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including querying datasets, reproducing analysis, interrogating conclusions, and challenging unsupported assumptions.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment concepts; private-assets or private-markets knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to explain sophisticated financial and quantitative concepts clearly and precisely.
• Strong charting and data-visualization skills, with experience presenting complex data accurately.
• Experience with financial or investment data and research, commentary, or other analytically driven content.
• Relevant experience in investment research, financial analysis, economics, quantitative research, or research-led financial writing.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in economics, finance, statistics, mathematics, or another quantitatively oriented discipline.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and analytical tools, including charting and data-visualization tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, meet recurring publication deadlines, and maintain factual and methodological accuracy.
• Experience in financial services, asset management, investment research, or financial-data businesses is strongly preferred; analytical capability and quantitative-research validation are critical requirements.
