Director, Agile Product Owner (Property Insurance)

Annual base salary: $123,400–$203,600

What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional Agile product team delivering capabilities and solutions for Property insurance, including aerial imagery and other emerging data sources.
• Define, prioritize, refine, and maintain the team backlog; accept final product output and make trade-off decisions to maximize value.
• Translate business strategy, product vision, and customer needs into execution-ready work, team goals, acceptance criteria, and roadmap priorities.
• Manage experimentation, measure performance, set objectives and KPIs, and optimize the flow of value.
• Act as the voice of the end user, gather customer feedback, support business readiness and adoption, and help remove impediments.
• Partner with leaders and peers, share Agile best practices, and foster an innovative, inclusive, collaborative, and self-organizing team environment; may manage Agile Product Owners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least three years of work experience in a related field and three years of experience motivating or influencing teams.
• Two years of experience in Agile product management.
• Two years of work experience in the supported discipline, such as claims, risk control, technology, project management, production, or application development.
• Three years of experience articulating and translating business strategy, product vision, and product analysis.
• Ability to apply Agile principles, practices, and methodologies and demonstrate an Agile mindset.
• Ability to define a product value proposition aligned with circle and value stream objectives and to influence leaders at all levels without traditional hierarchy.
• Servant leadership, effective communication at all levels, cross-functional collaboration, and commitment to continuous improvement and team development.
