Product Owner II (Remote)

Location: United States; Remote. Remote work from home with company-provided equipment; the position also references a hybrid onsite office and/or work-from-home environment.

Salary: $69,200–$95,000 annual full-time salary.

What you will do

• Own the product backlog end-to-end, including backlog management, iteration planning, refinement, prioritization, and product roadmap development.
• Gather stakeholder requirements and convert them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria for Scrum teams.
• Use AI-assisted tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools during discovery and requirements work.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, inception workshops, release and sprint planning, final approval, and acceptance testing.
• Coordinate cross-team delivery plans, testing, training, support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Communicate product strategy and serve as the product subject matter expert while negotiating conflicting priorities and mitigating impediments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a high school diploma is required when using equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst, with demonstrated ability to lead projects and Scrum teams.
• High proficiency in agile processes and principles.
• High proficiency in creating, prioritizing, and accepting user stories.
• Clear and concise acceptance-criteria writing skills.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI tools and active experimentation with how they can improve product-team work; AI expertise is not required.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, leadership, problem-solving, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to motivate and lead a Scrum team toward appropriate solutions and timelines, maintain cooperative relationships, provide customer service, analyze problems, and handle confidential matters.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is required within 1.5 years.
