Community Home Loan Originator (Mortgage Lending)

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma 74135, United States; onsite, full time

Salary: $33.17–$38.70 per hour, plus performance-based incentive plan eligibility.

What you will do

• Promote affordable housing products in targeted communities.
• Originate CRA-eligible residential mortgage loans according to bank policies and procedures.
• Build relationships with realtors, nonprofits, community development groups, and other community partners.
• Provide homeownership and financial education through seminars, workshops, training, and community outreach.
• Educate prospects and CRA-qualified contacts about mortgage products, services, and programs.
• Prepare monthly reports on CRA involvement and activities.

Requirements

• Intermediate knowledge of the home loan industry.
• Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of experience sourcing and/or originating Community Development-related first mortgage loans, primarily in a regulated financial institution environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet hirify.global’s driving record criteria; continued employment may depend on meeting driving requirements.
• Organized, motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; adaptability, resilience, and teamwork.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Employment is subject to authorization for a motor vehicle driving-record review and a federal investigatory consumer report disclosing credit history.

Nice to have

• Established relationships with realtors, nonprofits, civic leaders, and organizations specializing in Community Development lending, supported by referrals, recommendation letters, public recognition, awards, or similar evidence.
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency.
